September 15, 1943 — October 20, 2020

Marilee Webb Lasseter, 77, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born in Washington, Georgia on September 15, 1943 to the late Lee and Mary Garrard Webb. Marilee had worked at various jobs while raising her children but eventually landed a position with State Farm Insurance Company. Upon graduation, she was able to secure a position with South Georgia Medical Center where she worked as a radiology transcriptionist until her retirement. She was a hard worker who always ensured that her family’s needs were met and was always ready to lend a helping hand to others in need. She enjoyed her grandchildren immensely and had attended both Doerun Baptist Church and Azalea City Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Jon and Lee Ann Lasseter of Valdosta, Felton Merrell Lasseter, Jr. (Chip) of Texas, and Robert Matthew Lasseter of Morven; three grandchildren, Jon R. II and his wife Erica Lasseter of Blichton, Georgia, Hannah Morgan Lasseter of Savannah, and Matthew Tyler Lasseter of Valdosta; two great-grandchildren, Marshall Kane Tedrick of Guyton, Georgia and Jonathan Richard Lasseter III of Blichton, Georgia.
