Maria Barbara Wojtaszewski

Maria Barbara Wojtaszewski, 87, of Lake Park, died on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on December 8, 1937, in Równo, Poland to the late Joseph and Lydia Bednarz Kubacki. Mrs. Wojtaszewski was a member of Abundant Life Church and was known for her kind and selfless spirit. She was a prayerful lady and truly exhibited a servant’s heart in the numerous mission trips she took along with her husband to many countries in the world. From Asia to Africa and to Europe she directly touched the lives and gave hope to many, many people with the various organizations she was involved in. She also cared deeply for her family and enjoyed giving of herself to them for their benefit and happiness.

Mrs. Wojtaszewski is survived by her husband of 65+ years, Wasyl Wojtaszewski; her children and their spouses, Richard and Susan Wojtaszewski of Marlton, New Jersey, Cindy and Joseph Hines of Live Oak, Florida, Sharon Adams of Florence, Italy, and Mark and Catherine Wojtaszewski of Pitman, New Jersey; her grandchildren and their spouses, Kirsten and Kurt Eisele, Michael Wojtaszewski, Chantal and Matthew Higman, and Christa Hines; her great-grandchildren, Jameson Eisele, Samuel Higman and Madison Higman, and her sister, Grete Popowicz. She was preceded by a sister, Christa Iwanczuk.

Services for Maria Barbara Wojtaszewski will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Abundant Life Church with Rev. Brian Monihan and Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating. The burial will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m. until service time.
