Margaret F. Redding

Margaret F. Redding passed away October 29, 2018 at SGMC Lakeland Villa after many years of declining health. She was born December 26, 1919 to Marcus Hillsman and Mittie Viola Forte. On February 1, 1941 she married the love of her life, Brooks H. Redding.
She is survived by a daughter, Sylvia Redding Jenkins of Valdosta and son, B. Henry Redding of Lake Park, 4 grandchildren; Chris Jenkins of Centennial, CO., Melissa Myers, Tommy Redding, and Jonathan Redding all of Valdosta; several great grandchildren also. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson, Sean M. Jenkins.
Funeral services for Mrs. Redding will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Carson McLane Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.mclanecares.com.
