Marcus Johnson

Marcus Johnson, 57, of Valdosta, unexpectedly passed away on August 27th, 2023. He was born on October 10, 1965 to Robert (Bob) and Brenda Johnson in Jenkins, Kentucky.

He worked for the John T. Fris Company for fourteen years as a supervisor. In his free time he enjoyed to fish, and most of all spend time with his grandchildren. He was known to many as a problem solver and a helping hand to anyone.

Marcus was truly a great man whose impact with his grandchildren. He was known to many as a problem solver and a helping hand to anyone.

Marcus was truly a great man whose impact will forever be felt by his family, that loves him dearly. He was a selfless man whose passing left an unimaginable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever engrained in all he knew.

Marcus leaves behind his wife Carolyn Johnson, of Valdosta; His children, Robert Johnson; Marcus (Audrey) Johnson, both of Valdosta; Geni Fontenot; Joey Kilgore, both of Texas; Mother, Brenda Johnson, of Jenkins, Kentucky; brothers, Ronnie Johnson of Valdosta; Nolan (Staci) Johnson, of N.C; Grandchildren, Brandi, Kristen, Harley, Natrielle, Kloe, Lea, Garren, Madison, Sailor, and Paisley. Lots of nieces and nephews, and many friends. Marcus was preceded in death by his father Robert (Bob) Johnson.

A service for Marcus will be held in Jenkins, Kentucky.
