Malvia Jeanell Conger

Malvia Jeanell Conger, of Valdosta passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at SGMC. She was born in Calhoun, GA on January 5, 1934 to the late Emmit Hales and Ruby Greeson Hales. Mrs. Conger was a homemaker and member of the Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Jack Kent of Valdosta, daughter-in-law, Essie Merritt of Adel, and an extended family of friends who loved her. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her four husbands, a son, Mitchell J. Merritt and a brother, Earl Hales.
Funeral services for Mrs. Conger will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2018 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home, Pastor Wayne Hughes officiating. Interment will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday June 5, 2018 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
