Luis Alejandro "Alex" Segundo

Luis Alejandro "Alex" Segundo, 25, of Lake Park died on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Alex was born on November 15, 1991 in Winter Haven, Florida but grew up in Lake Park. He was a graduate of Echols County High School was known for his sense of fun and humor. Alex's dream was to work as a mechanic and he enjoyed the times and opportunities he had to work on automobile engines.
Survivors include his mother, Ernestina Segundo; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Shelly Segundo, Marisa Segundo and Leonel Calvillo, Angela Segundo, and Daniela Hernandez; three brothers, Mario Hernandez, Sebastian Hernandez, and Nicholas Hernandez; his grandmother, Paulina Olguin; two uncles, Rafael Olguin, and Jose Segundo all of Lake Park.
Services for Alex Segundo will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in the chapel of the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home with Chaplain Winston Taylor officiating. The burial will follow in the Lake Park Cemetery.
