Lt. Col. Jeffrey S. Thorburn, USAF, of Valdosta, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006 in Tampa, FL. Born in London England on Sept. 25, 1959, he was the son of James and the late Ann (Worts) Thorburn. He was a member of the Church of England.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne(Turner) Thorburn; three daughters, Jessica Thorburn, Ashley Thorburn, Amanda Thorburn; two sons, Andrew Thorburn & Christopher Thorburn all of Valdosta; brother, Nigel Thorburn of Texas. He was preceded in death by a sister Karen Thorburn.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 1, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Moody Air Force Base with Chaplain Timothy Porter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at MAFB chapel.
