Louise Noel Tillman, 82, of Valdosta died on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Patten Place Retirement Center in Adel. Born on November 15, 1923, in Warren, OH, she was the daughter of the late Otto Clarence and Mary L. Yost Noel. Mrs. Tillman was a breast cancer survivor and volunteered with Reach to Recovery. She had worked in sales and purchasing for Varnedoes, the Four Seasons Shop, and Tots and Teens. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria Jean and Wendell Johnson of Valdosta and Mary Lou and Lawrence Freil of Woodstock, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Allen, Jr. and Angie Tillman of Brooks County; brother, John Noel of Ohio; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynne Crain (Michael), Allan Wesley Harrell all of Nashville, TN; William Howard Pearson, Jr. (Amy) of Centerton, AR, Lawrence Freil and Kylara Freil of Woodstock; an aunt, Betty Stephenson of Ohio; 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Roy Edward Barrow, Charles Allen Tillman, Sr., a granddaughter, Laura Kathleen Potter and a brother, Robert Noel.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Steve Atkinson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1292, Albany, GA 31702.
