Louise H. Cook, 92, of Valdosta, died on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Fellowship Home. She was born on November 9, 1932, in White Springs, Florida to the late Benjamin and Mary Lee Hadsock. Mrs. Cook graduated from Andrew College and worked as a file clerk with the FBI and later attended Valdosta State College. She worked and retired from the Lowndes County School System as the Director of Health Benefits and was a charter member of Park Avenue Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Josh Robertson of Valdosta; her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Shannon Cook of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Reagan Cook of Athens, and Caleb Cook and Mae Cook both of Valdosta; her sister, Janell Nicholson of Griffin; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband, John B. Cook, Jr. and seven brothers.
Services for Louise H. Cook will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Dr. Craig Rykard and Rev. Jamie Bone officiating. The burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
