Mary Lois “Nan” Warren Jackson, 93, of Mayday, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, at River Brook Healthcare Center in Homerville, GA. She was born on June 3, 1930, in Cadwell, Laurens County, GA to the late General Other Warren and Nora Frances Scarbrough Warren. Mrs. Jackson was a hardworking and family-oriented individual dedicated to providing for her loved ones. She was a retired grocery store clerk from Big Star and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Jackson found solace and community in her faith. Her devotion to her religion brought her comfort throughout her life. In her free time, Nan enjoyed fishing and cooking. These hobbies allowed her to relax and share her love with others. She found joy in preparing delicious meals for her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Keller of Mayday, granddaughters, Patricia Bragg of Clyattville, Deborah Keller of Jacksonville, Jerri Keller and Jeff Sorrell of Mayday, Eddie and Angie Keller of Florence, AL, great grandchildren, Harry and Ashlynn Noles of New Jersey and Mayday, Colt Keller and Leia of Colorado, Mindy Walker and Glenn Moore of Jacksonville, Jade Keller of Mayday, Justin Sorrell and Kasey Stewart of Mayday, Zack Keller, Macy Keller, Levi Keller and Jacob Keller all of Florence, AL and ten great great grandchildren and sister, Joy and George Smith of Winter Haven, FL. Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee “Buddy” Jackson, son in law, Ed Keller, grandson in law, Tony Noles, great granddaughters, Jena Keller and Shelby Keller, brother, Jack Warren, sisters, Doris Lairsey, Mattie Daniels and Opal Merriman.
Funeral services to honor Nan’s life and legacy will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Reverend Wayne Boykin and Reverend Bruce Merriman officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Cook County. The family will receive friends from six until eight p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family kindly request donations be made in Nan’s memory to Macedonia Baptist Church. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com. Nan will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
