Linda Joan Bauer

Linda Joan Bauer, 60, died on Friday, July 19, 2019, at her home in Lake Park, following a lengthy illness. Born in Quitman, on August 15, 1958, she was a daughter of the late William C. Hewett and Patricia Bassett Hewett. Joan received her certification as a Pharmacy Technician from Wiregrass Technical College. Mrs. Bauer was an avid collector, especially Clocks and Bauer pottery. She also loved spending time in St. Augustine, FL.
Survivors are her husband, Michael E. Bauer of Lake Park; daughters and son in law, Kourtney and Kellen Kent of Hahira, Kristina Manley of Lake Park; four grandchildren, sisters, Kathy Gilbert of Nashville, Lynn Wood of Sparks and a brother, Fred Hewett of Panama City, Florida.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Mrs. Bauer will be held on Saturday July 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Donations will be gratefully received in memory of Mrs. Bauer by the American Cancer Society.
