Linda Wade Brown, 75, of Valdosta, GA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, March 17, 2025. Her parents were the late John Allen Sr. & Vina Anderson of Valdosta. She was of Baptist faith. Linda was the world to her daughter Wendy Wade Robinette (Gabriel Boon) & (Harold Robinette Jr.) of Valdosta. Her sister Joyce Ann Bailey (Tommy) of Hahira, GA was her rock. Linda was a loving grandmother to Cody Allen Robinette (Marisa), Kimberly Barrentine (Jonathan), Gage, Layla, Lindy, Logan, Landon, and Gemma. She was another Mother to her niece Shannon Lindsay, of Valdosta. As a great-aunt to Hannah, Makenzie, Ashlynn, Sarah, Caleb, and Skyler, Linda was always willing to listen and offered unconditional love, which she did best.
Linda spent many days during later years with her sister-by-heart Jane Akins, of Valdosta. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and listening to Motown Music. Linda was a shining star, bringing light to all who knew her, the skies will without doubt now shine brighter. She will forever be missed & remembered as her love will live on, always. Linda was preceded in death by her brother, John Allen Anderson Jr., of Valdosta, her sister, Helen Carver, of Fruitland, GA, a great-grandson (Xander), a great-nephew (Ashton), and nephew Robert Courson.
Services will be held in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2 pm with the Reverend Clyde Sirmans officiating. Burial will follow at Cat Creek Cemetery.
