Lillian Christie Moore, 90, of Valdosta died on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at Fellowship Home. Born in Lowndes County, Miss Moore was the daughter of the late William and Isabelle Redding Moore. She received her AB Degree at Georgia State Womans College in 1940. Miss Moore taught school in Hahira, Rebecca, Nashville and Pensacola, Florida.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews including S. L. Jones of Quitman.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2006, at Cat Creek Cemetery. Reverend Bob Willis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com.
