Laura Lee Rentz

Laura Lee Rentz, 66, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, July 21, 2016. Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, on June 28, 1950 she was a daughter of the late Charles Carney and Betty Newhouse Carney. Mrs. Rentz was retired from Walmart as a greeter and she was a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Rickey Rentz, Laura is survived by her son and daughter in law, Cliff and Cebrena Hiers of Valdosta; daughters and a son in law, Kim Coker of Ozark, Alabama, Lee Anne and David Feagin of Adel, Cassie Carter of Moultrie; step son, Rickey and Sandra Rentz of Dublin; fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, sisters, Cathy Leonard of Lake Park, Karen Evans, Carla Gracia, of Valdosta and Marta Carney of Vero Beach, Florida; brother, Ricky Carney of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters in law and their husbands, Shirley and JR Lindler of South Carolina, Carolyn Dyess of Claxton, Peggy and Glen Williamson, Nancy and Charles Kinsey, Frances and Terry Moore all of Valdosta.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rentz will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Waters will officiate.
