Latrelle Nathey

Latrelle Nathey, 66, of Lakeland, died after a lengthy illness on Monday, May 12, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center. Born on January 9, 1942 in Remerton, she was the daughter of the late Fred M. Blanton and Ruth B. Hutchinson. Ms. Nathey was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Ruth Jordan of Lake Park; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Sharee Jordan, David Lee and Brooke Jordan, all of Valdosta; seven grandchildren, Nicole Tucker of Lake Park, Michelle Mueller of Lakeland, Danielle Jordan, Jessica Jordan, David Jordan, Jr., Maggie Jordan and Ginger Jordan; two great grandchildren, Colby Tucker and Ainsley Tucker. Ms. Nathey is also survived by two brothers, Robert V. Hutchinson, Jr. of Valdosta and Kenny Hutchinson of Hahira; a sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Pat Kelley of Tallahassee, FL and several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
