Larry Larue Parrish, Sr.

Larry LaRue Parrish, Sr., 73, of Hahira died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on March 17, 1941 in Hahira to the late E. Ray and Ollie Rumph Parrish. Mr. Parrish was a retired fire fighter with the Valdosta Fire Department and a Baptist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with his friends.

Survivors include his wife, Linda S. Parrish of Hahira, son and daughter in law, Larry LaRue, Jr. and Susan Parrish of Fountain, FL, a daughter, Lori Denise Parrish of Hahira, a grandson, Timothy LaRue Parrish of Monroe, MI., brother and sister in law, Albert and Hedy Parrish of Hahira, several sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Hudson Parrish and a sister, Betty Jo Parrish Vincent.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Elder Thad Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
