Kenneth C. "Kc" Davis

Kenneth C. "KC" Davis, 74, of Valdosta died Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at his home. He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on January 4, 1939 to the late William Hoyt and Martha Alice Clouse Davis. Mr. Davis is a member of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church. He was retired from the United States Marine Corps and Lockheed Martin. Mr. Davis was a member of the Marine Corp Air Transport Association.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hamrick Davis of Valdosta, son and daughter in law, Michael Casey and Julie Davis of Social Circle, GA, two daughters and sons in law, Kathyrine and Robert Cooper, Patricia Davis Ruane and Kevin Ruane all of Valdosta, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Carlyle Davis, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Park Avenue United Methodist Church with Rev. Willie Beasley and Rev. Hale Bishop officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
