Kayla Brooke Etheridge

Kayla Brooke Etheridge, 17, of Statenville passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on January 21, 2003 in Brewton, AL to Christopher Scott Etheridge and Stephanie Diane Quiggins. Kayla was known for being the life of the party. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed riding horses.
Survivors include her mother, Stephanie Quiggins, of Statenville; father and step mother, Scott and Teresa Etheridge, of Andalusia, AL; sister, Brittany Etheridge; brother, Chris Etheridge (Victoria), grandparents, James and Linda Quiggins; nephews, Dalton Bolesta and Rowan Etheridge; niece, Brynlee Bolesta, all of Statenville; niece, Julyanna Rose; stepsister, Sonya Cobb both of Andalusia, AL; stepbrother, Ryan Moorman of Brantley, AL; maternal aunts and uncles, Angelia (Robby) VanAllen of Valdosta, GA, Amanda Quiggins (Mike Terrell) of Statenville, GA and Billy Quiggins also of Statenville, GA; paternal aunts and uncles Shirley Palmer of Mobile, AL, Lisa Patterson, of Andalusia, AL, and Jenny Etheridge, of Evergreen, AL; uncles Johnny Etheridge and James Etheridge also from Evergreen, AL; nephews Mason and Brinley Morman of Brantley, AL; and a special friend, Clint Carter, of Lake Park. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nancy Findley; great grandparents, Clyde and Julie Quiggins, and Inez and Bill Steele; and special friend, Brandon Findley.

Funeral services for Kayla will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park. Burial will follow at Statenville Cemetery.
