Julian Richmond Royals

Julian Richmond Royals, 69 of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center. Born on April 22, 1937 in Lake Park, he was the son of the late Richard Richmond and Irby Cora Lee Lasseter Royals. Mr. Royals was an automobile mechanic and a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors are his wife, Mary O. Royals of Valdosta; son, Timothy Julian Royals of Valdosta; daughters and sons-in-law, Marisa J. and Bob Durrin of Prosper, TX and Chiquita and Eric Sorg of Little Elm, TX; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother, Quintin Royals of Vero Beach, FL; sisters, Jean Woody of Lake Wales, FL and Janice Colvin of Madison, FL. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jaimey Richmond Royals and a brother Mack Royals.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2006 in the Magnolia Room Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home.
