Julian Griner

Julian Griner, 90, a lifelong resident of Valdosta, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born on December 11, 1927 to the late Samuel and Alice Dampier Griner. He was married for 45 years to the late Lavada Lee Haralson Griner. Mr. Griner was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired Supervisor at Owens Illinois Packing Company. He was a member at Eastern Heights Baptist.
Mr. Griner is survived by his three sons Ronald C. Griner (Cheryl), Ricky J. Griner (Pam), and Rocky B. Griner (Tess), his grandchildren Jimmy Griner, Kimberly Griner McCranie, Naomi Sharp, Vicki Spell, and Valerie Griner, his ten great grandchildren, his sister Dorothy Kendrick, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Roger Griner, and two brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Tommy Bussey officiating.
