Judy Kennedy

Judy Kennedy, 64, of Hahira, died on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Phoebe Putney in Albany following a lengthy illness. She was born on October 10, 1961, in Tampa, Florida to the late Jimmy and Betty Fender Barfield. Judy was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Albert Kennedy of Hahira; her children and their spouses, Sunshine and Jackie Flinchum of Sylvester, Patches Kennedy of Savannah, Candy and Charlie Nelson of Lake Park, Albert Kennedy, Jr. and Zay Green of Valdosta, Mandy and Amy Harris of Valdosta, Halie Kennedy of Hahira, Brady and Brittiney Kennedy of Cordele, Montana Kennedy of Kansas City, Mo., and Donna Kennedy (her person) of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Jayden Strickland, Aalijah Kennedy (Lil Man), Trevor Nelson, Abigail Reed (LuLu), Shyanne Kennedy (Shy-Shy), Aaliyah Kennedy Gray (Granny), Kylin Kennedy, Jackson Reed, Amare Kennedy Gray, Hayden Griner, Gavin Griner, and Rylee Nelson; her great-grandchildren, Olive, Ayden, Bleu, Kaisley, Paislee, Kalyah and Noah.

She is also survived by her loving brother, Timmy Barfield.

Services for Judy Kennedy will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Joe Brooks officiating. The burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery in Naylor. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
