Joyce Ann Bellinger

Joyce Ann Bellinger, 92, of Valdosta, died on Sunday March 2, 2025, at Langdale Place. Born in Fairfield, Iowa on September 29, 1932, to the late Wendell and Enla McCleary. Growing up in Waterloo, she attended First Methodist Church there with her family and sang in the choir. She spent many years as a military wife traveling all over the world. She settled in Vero Beach, FL, and worked as a bookkeeper at a physician’s office. Moving to Valdosta in 2020, she lived and thrived at Langdale Place. There she made many wonderful friends. Joyce loved her family and her beloved long-haired dachshund, Sophie. She is remembered for her love of animals and for all things of beauty.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Cindy Wilson, and her spouse, Tina Dennig of Sebastian, FL; her son and daughter in law, Rick and Laine Bellinger of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Brad & Laurie Bellinger, of Auburn, AL, Blake & Susan Howell of Valdosta, Alicia Bellinger & Jed Huckaby of Valdosta, Jessie & Erin Aziz of Asheville, NC; eight great grandchildren, Reeves, Abigail, Anne Elise, Robert, Callie, Ansley, Vera, Emily and Logan; and a special friend, Adrienne Anderson. Joyce is preceded in death by her grandson, Rob Bellinger.

A reception will be held for Joyce at Park Place by McLane, on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 5 until 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Park Avenue Church, at www.parkave.church in memory of Mrs. Bellinger.
