Joseph “Joe” Reagan

July 30, 1958 — September 1, 2023

Joseph "Joe" Reagan, 65, of Valdosta, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Archbold Hospital in Thomasville, GA. He was born on July 30, 1958 in Valdosta to the late Bennie Reagan and Ruby Colvin Reagan. He grew up in Valdosta and worked as a machine operator for First Line Corporation. He was a very humble and patient person, and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Joe dabbled in woodworking, enjoyed fishing, was a proud UGA Bulldogs fan, and loved his family more than anything. He had celebrated 38 years of marriage to his wife, Vivian Reagan. He will be missed greatly by his family, children and grandchildren, and his furbaby "Sugar."


Joe is survived by his wife, Vivian Reagan, of Valdosta; his son, Steven Reagan (Shelby) of Valdosta; daughter, Natosha Bailey (David), of Valdosta; sister, Sue Swain (Bill), of Havana, FL; brother, Terry Reagan (Ann), of Valdosta; grandchildren, Katie Strickland, and Addison Reagan, both of Valdosta; brother-in-law, Wendell Ellis, of Lake Park; sister-in-law, Barbara Vann, of Valdosta; nephew Tyler Ellis of Lake Park; nephew Don Carter (Kathy) of Valdosta, niece Julie Browning (Aaron) of Jacksonville, FL, niece April Swain, of Manhattan, NY, nephew, Jeff Carter (Tiffany) of Albany, GA, and nephew Mark Reagan (Roxanne) of Lake Park, GA; and many other relatives and friends.


He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Patsy Reagan, nephew Brian Reagan, and sister-in-law, Debbie Reagan.


A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Cat Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11am.
