Johnny Luther Barden, 85, of Quitman, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Quitman Presbyterian Home.

He was born on May 29, 1940, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late John H. Barden and Della Lamb Barden Chauncey. Mr. Barden was of the Church of God faith and enjoyed working at and being part of LARC in Valdosta.

He is survived by his brothers, Charles Barden (Jerre) and Jimmy Barden (Glenda Gail), both of Valdosta, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Latrelle Ware, and his niece, LaTrecia Fornes.
