John Knight

John “Sailor” Knight, 80, of Valdosta, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. He was born on October 14, 1943 to the late John Solomon Knight and Doris Lillian Walker Knight. Born and raised in Valdosta, worked at Warehouser and the Valdosta Regional Airport for a number of years. He was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Vietnam War. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast.

He will be remembered by his many friends and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Condolences may be shared online at www.mclanecares.com
