Joan Ellen Earnest

Joan Ellen Earnest, 59, of Hahira, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013, at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born April 18, 1953 in Spokane, WA, a daughter of the late John Clair Crites and Ellen Maurer Crites of Spokane, WA. Joan was a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was always a caring, down to earth person who always had a positive attitude about life; she was a friend to all and loved by everyone she knew. Joan's dream was to "join the Spirit in the sky" based on her favorite song; we know she is there with loved ones playing cards. Joan will be truly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Earnest of Hahira; a son and daughter-in-law, Chris & Cathy Earnest of Cummings; a brother & sister-in-law, Greg & Hope Crites of Spokane, WA; two grandchildren, Garrett & Braden Earnest of Cummings; and her mother Ellen of Spokane, WA.
