Jimmy Farmer, 57, lifetime resident of Valdosta, died Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Crestwood Nursing Home. He was born on July 4, 1949 in Lowndes County to the late Jim Frank and Myrtice Wyolene Arnold Farmer. Mr. Farmer worked at LARC and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by three brothers and one sister in law, Joseph Eugene and Marion Farmer, Eddie Frank Farmer, Jerome Farmer and one sister, Sylvia Farmer all of Valdosta. Mr. Farmer is preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Farmer.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2007 at eleven a. m. at Friendship Cemetery in Hahira with Reverend Bobby Frier officiating. Burial will follow. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at mclanefuneralservices.com.
