Jerry P. Loggins, 94, of Valdosta, died Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at Holly Hill Nursing Home. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on May 6, 1911 to the late A. D. and Sarah Goode Loggins. Mr. Loggins was a Farmer, a United States Army Veteran and a Baptist.
He is survived by one daughter, Linda Loggins Taylor of Valdosta and one granddaughter, Jessica Ann Taylor of Valdosta. Mr. Loggins is preceded in death by his wife, Julia B. Loggins on May 29, 2003.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 21, 2005 at four p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Ernie Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p. m. Thursday at the funeral home.
