Jerry Edward Lyles, 75, of Lake Park, Georgia, passed away on February 7, 2026. He was born on August 9, 1950, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Ike and Edith Pearl O’Berry Lyles.

Jerry loved spending time outdoors and had a true “green thumb,” able to make any plant thrive. He especially enjoyed sitting by the lake at his home, taking in the view, and savoring a good cinnamon roll. Above all, Jerry cherished time spent with family and friends. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Jerry is survived by his son, Jason (Holly) Lyles of Columbus, North Carolina; his daughter, Katherine Nizen; his sisters, Myra Wilmont of Locust Grove, Georgia, and Sara Lyles of Stockbridge, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Abigail Lyles, Aubree Lyles, Ava Lyles, and Jasper Barlow.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Smith, Helen Land, Sylvia Louise Lyles, Barbara Elms, and Marie Lyles, and by his brother, Ike Lyles Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to a local hospice organization or the charity of your choice.
