Jerry H. Geren

Jerry H. Geren, 80, of Valdosta died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Jefferson Hospital in Louisville, GA. He was born on June 2, 1934 in Paris, Kentucky to the late William Robert Geren and Jessie Lee Roe Geren. Mr. Geren was the owner of Geren Rides, a United States Army Veteran having served in the third infantry division, a member of the Methodist faith, an honorary member of the Lions Club in Gainesville and Fitzgerald, GA.

He is survived by his wife, Joanna Geren , his son and daughter in law, Glenn and Diane Geren and his granddaughter, Hilary Geren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 at one p. m at Dasher Cemetery with Mr. Brian Jarvis officiating. Burial will follow. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016.
