Jeff Corbett, 42, of Lake Park, died at his home on Monday, October 2, 2006. Born in Valdosta, on July 24, 1964, he had lived in the Echols County area his entire life. Mr. Corbett had been associated with PCA at Clyattville for a number of years. He was a member of the Statenville Church of Christ.
Survivors are his father and step mother, Chester and Hanna Corbett of Lake Park; sisters and brother in law, Jennifer and Jon Garrett of Valdosta, Janie Corbett of Lake Park; and a wide extended family.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2006, at eleven a.m. at Carter Cemetery. Mr. Evans McMullen will officiate. The family will receive friends at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com.
