Jean R. Malone

Jean R. Malone, 96, of Valdosta, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. She was born in Valdosta on July 17, 1917. Mrs. Malone was a graduate of Valdosta Woman's College. She was a loving devoted Mother and homemaker. Mrs. Malone was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Jim Malone of Valdosta, one grandson, James Malone and his wife, Kristy Malone, three great granddaughters, Elizabeth Malone, Kaytee Malone and Taylor Malone. Mrs. Malone is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene H. Rogers and Ruby Hazel Harrell Rogers.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at three p. m. at Staunton Cemetery in Lenox, GA. The family will receive friends at the Carson McLane Funeral Home from 11:30 a. m. until noon and at the graveside from 2 until 3 p. m. Reverend Bob Willis will officiate.
