Janet Dickson

Janet Dickson, 82, of Lake Park died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Lakehaven Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Harland, Kentucky on February 16, 1933 to the late Skelt and Thelma Harris Nolan and had lived in this area for many years. Mrs. Dickson was a member of the Lake Park Church of God and had been a volunteer with hospice.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Dickson of Lake Park; daughter and son in law, Bridgett and Charles Barr of Vass, NC; her grandchildren, Nicole Baker, Brandi Collins, Heather Collins; 8-great grandchildren, 1-great great grandchild; her brother, Bobby Nolan of Valdosta; two sisters, Rozella Lundy of Pennington Gap, VA and Louise Caplan of San Francisco, CA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Paul Baklund.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the Lake Park Church of God. Pastor Keith Sandlin and Pastor Andy Pearson will officiate.
