James Keith Blevins

James Keith Blevins, 75, of Valdosta was escorted home Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Langdale Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 4, 1948 in Bluefield, WV to the late George Washington Blevins and Ruth Powell Blevins. Keith was the retired Chief Operating Officer for Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Rotary Club and Best Buddies.

Keith is survived by his wife, Sandra Barnes Blevins of Valdosta, daughters, Michele Pirkle (Kimberly Cady) of Smyrna, GA, Stephanie Bond (Jody Davenport) of Dalton, GA, son, Lee LeFiles (Missy) of Hahira, grandchildren, Courtney Richards (Braxton) of Calhoun, GA, Leesy LeFiles and Milli LeFiles of Hahira, great grandson, Beau Mitchell Richards of Calhoun, brothers, Jerry Blevins (Barbara) of Martinsburg, VA, Edward Blevins of Roanoke, VA, nephews, Michael Blevins, Clay Blevins, nieces, Sherry Albert and Melody Wilson. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister and brother in law, Martha and Monte Branham.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11am in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Dr. Chuck Owens and Reverend Dennis Massie officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11am in the chapel.
