Jack A. (Bucky) Clark, Sr.

Jack A. (Bucky) Clark, Sr., 57, of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born on May 28, 1949 in Wheeling, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Raymond and Doris Clark. He was a carpet installer and a member of the Azalea City Church of God.

Survivors are his wife, Linda Clark of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Matt Tourtellott of Lake Park; son and daughter-in-law, Jack A., Jr. & Patti Clark of Valdosta; grandchildren, Raymond Clark, Matthew Tourtellott, Tayler Scott, Samantha Clark and a grandson on the way; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Frank Barton, Carolyn and James Minton all of Valdosta; Sandy Rothrock and Donna Wood of Hahira and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ray Clark.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2006 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Raymond Gabbard and Reverend Jonathan Harrell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
