It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Infant Alex Lawton Cockman, who was born sleeping on December 2, 2025. Though his time with us was brief, Alex touched the hearts of all who knew of him and will be forever missed.
Alex is survived by his devoted mother, Allison Cockman, and her close friends Jennifer Bayer, Chelsey Thiess and Susannah Homans all of Valdosta, Georgia. His memory is cherished by his great aunt Helen Wynn, of Ocilla, Georgia. Alex was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alex Edward Cockman, his great grandfather Lawton Daniels, his great grandmother Myrtice Daniels and great aunt Nancy Tucker.
In this time of sorrow, the family finds solace in knowing that Alex rests peacefully in the arms of Jesus. No services are planned at this time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Allison and all who hold Alex in their hearts during this difficult time. May his memory be a blessing and his spirit forever shine bright.
