Herman Richard "Ricky" Cooper

Herman Richard "Ricky" Cooper, 65, of Hahira died Tuesday, January 19, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on February 13, 1950 in Hahira to the late Herman and Gladys Stalvey Cooper and was a lifelong resident of Hahira. Mr. Cooper was a retired mechanic and a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed riding Harley motorcycles, restoring old tractors and racing.
Survivors include his sister and brother in law, Janet and Ronnie Warren, his brothers and sister in law, Stan and Janet Cooper, Tim Cooper all of Hahira; his puppy that he loved, Tater and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, January 21, 2016 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Boykin and Mr. Jackie Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Cecil. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
