Helen Wilson

Helen Wilson, 74, of Valdosta, died at a local nursing home on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Wilson was born in Pinehurst, GA. to the late Dewey Clark & Mattie Lucille Thompson. She was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church.
Survivors are her brother, Archie Russell Thompson, Hawkinsville; special cousin, Emma Gean Bowen, Hawkinsville; several nieces & nephews; special friends, Margaret Davis & David Surrency of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. Wilson, a brother, Calvin Lee Thompson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. The Rev. Alvin Carter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1 p.m. until service time.
