Harvey Warren Powell, Jr., 92, of Valdosta, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family.

A funeral service for Mr. Powell will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. John Page officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
