Harriette Folsom Sharpe

Harriette Folsom Sharpe, 77, of Hahira, GA and Raleigh, NC, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at South GA Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. She was born on March 23, 1929 in Ware County, GA to the late Albert J. and Ivey Smith Folsom. Mrs. Sharpe grew up in Hahira, was a bookkeeper, a member of Hahira United Methodist Church and a graduate of GA State Woman’s College.

She is survived by her husband, Henry C. Sharpe, Sr. of Hahira, three sons and two daughters in law, H. Bryant Stoneham, Jim and Ann Stoneham, all of Raleigh, NC, Al and Julie Stoneham of Fuquay Varina, NC, five grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Shannon, Braden and Corey and one sister, Ivelyn Holland of Springfield, VA.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hahira United Methodist Church. Mrs. Sharpe will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Thursday, June 15, 2006 at two p. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Reverend Lynn Hurley officiating.
