Graham Fiveash

August 30, 1948 — April 8, 2024

Valdosta, GA

Graham Fiveash, 75, of Valdosta, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024. Born on August 30, 1948, to the late Saint Elmo Fiveash and Miriam Ruth Little Fiveash. He grew up in Hahira and graduated with the last class of Hahira High School in 1966. He developed a love for Drums in High School, playing in the marching band and a band with friends “The Four Dimensions” and “The Peppermint Styx”. He wanted to try out for football, but they wouldn’t allow it because he was the only drummer in the marching Tigers. During the early days of his band with friends, they often played at places they wouldn’t normally be old enough to attend. In the late 1960’s Graham met the former Diane Stephenson at Shoney’s while cruising Ashley Street with friends. They started dating and were married at Central Avenue Church of Christ on August 21, 1971. In his earlier days, he enjoyed surfing but continued to play drums throughout his life. He attended Valdosta State College and earned a business degree. After college, he worked briefly at Georgia Power, but soon started selling insurance with his brother-in-law, and later sold real estate. He owned and operated Graham Fiveash Real Estate for 15 years, then went on to work as a realtor with Herndon Real Estate for 15 years, where he loved and respected his Herndon family. He was a member of Central Avenue Church of Christ.

Graham is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diane S. Fiveash, of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Ryan Lee, of Florence, AL, daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and R.J. Wickstrom, of Lake Park; his grandchildren, Griffin Lee, Gracie Lee both of Florence, AL, and Rex Wickstrom, of Lake Park; nephew Tim (& Renee) Fielden; nieces, Vicki (& Danny) Warren,  Lynette (& Bobby) Clark; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Betty Joyce and Don Lockey, Tommy and Joyce Stephenson, Laura Stephenson, Marcia and BJ Wilson, and John and Lisa Stephenson; and many other nieces and nephews.
