Geraldine Smith Arnold, 62, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, after a lengthy illness. Born in Pickens County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Don and Virginia Smith of Morganton.
Survivors are her husband, Wayne Arnold of Valdosta; daughters and their spouses, Mischa "Missy" and Mitch Fontenot, Elisa Rae and Derkde Groot of Raleigh, North Carolina; and mother-in-law, Bea Arnold of Columbia, South Carolina.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Burke Memorial Park where Mrs. Arnold will be interred. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Carson McLane Funeral Home, Valdosta, Georgia. www.mclanefuneralservices.com
