Gerald Logan Jewell

Gerald Logan Jewell, 57, of Valdosta, died on August 8, 2009 at South Georgia Medical Center. Born on October 24, 1951, he was the son of the late William and Carolyn Wagner Greer Jewell. Mr. Jewell was a maintenance worker for the Big 7 Motel.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia G. Jewell of Valdosta; daughters and son-in-law, Gail and Jack Jones, Teresa Ponds and Crystal Raines, all of Valdosta; nine grandchildren, Sara Jones of Valdosta, Heather Parks and her husband, Carl of Abbeville, Misty Jones, Travis Jones, Leia Ponds, Alice Ponds, Stone Ponds, Austin Andersen and Devon Andersen, all of Valdosta; 2 great-grandchildren, Brandon Jones and Jacob Parks, both of Abbeville.
