Gerald Andrew Herrin, 74, of Valdosta, died on Monday, July 14, 2025, at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on July 11, 1951, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late Walter and Hazel Dickinson Herrin. He retired from Wal-Mart and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his son, Michael Herrin and his fiancée Amanda Hartline of Valdosta; his daughter, April Harrison and her husband Jackie Harrison of Cecil; his siblings, Johnny Herrin, Jimmie Herrin and Donald Herrin along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A family led memorial service will be held at Greenwood Baptist Church. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclanefuneralservices.com.
