Georgia Patricia Weeks, 78, of Hahira, died on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Valdosta on January 8, 1948, to the late George Irvin and Mary Ruth Harnage Weeks. Ms. Georgia worked in child-care for many years serving as a private nanny for several families. She is survived by her sons, Randy McCranie and Larry Pate and his wife, Stephanie, and her granddaughters, Christy, Rachael, Rebecca, Hannah, Logan, and Courtney. Ms. Georgia will be cremated according to her wishes, and a private family gathering will take place at the Carson McLane Funeral Home who is serving the Weeks family.
