Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Robert (Stacie) Wilson, Frank (Lisa) Wilson, and Beverly (Pete) Miracle, all of Lake Park, Georgia. She was a proud grandmother to Taylor (Niko) Burgess, Brookelyn Wilson, Brianna (Lee) Caldwell, Nathan (Candy) Wilson, Corey Wilson, Kaleb Wilson, Charlie (Clay) Steele, Jesse Bartley, Brayton Miracle, Keion Miracle, and Gracin Miracle.
She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Easton, Julian, Bowden, Bentley, Huxley, Marissa, Lillianna, Hayden, Jaxtin, Zander, and Izzy.
She is survived by her sister, Sandra Smale.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Robert “Willie” Wilson; her parents, Jesse and Ratha Durham; her grandson, Justin Miracle; her sisters, JoAnne Martin, Lila Upchurch, and Martha Williams; and her brothers, Gene and Daniel Durham.
Yvonne was a graduate of Concord University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She dedicated her career to helping others, serving thousands of families through Child Protective Services until her retirement in 2014.
A devoted Christian, Yvonne was a faithful member of Glen Jean Church of God for over 30 years.
We find peace and comfort in knowing that she is now in her heavenly home, celebrating with Jesus.
