Florence Pindar Colyer, 97, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Archbold Memorial Center in Thomasville. She was born in Valdosta on January 21, 1929, to the late Frederick Treutien Pindar and Florance Johnson Pindar. Mrs. Colyer had worked as a dental assistant with Dr. Holtzendorff’s practice and later with the family business with Colyer's Jewelers. She attended New Covenant.

Mrs. Colyer is survived by her children and their spouses, Sharon and Benny Carter, Gary and Wanda Colyer, and Kay and Keith Grimes all of Valdosta; her grandchildren and their spouses, Dallas Carter, Julie and Guy Rentz, Lisa and Johnathan Hall, Jeremy and Hilary Colyer, Laurie and Bon Charusorn, Lindsey and Charlie Lunn, and Sara and Jase Bass, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, James Colyer and her daughter, Frances Jane Colyer.
