Eva Nell Kinsey Culpepper, 73, of Tifton, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 after a lengthy illness, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 1, 1943, in Echols County, she was the daughter of the late Loyd Mark Kinsey and Eva Mae Kinsey. A proud business owner and a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Darrell Culpepper, and a grandson, Samuel Lem Culpepper. Mrs. Culpepper loved meeting and talking with people. She was a member of Oasis Family Church and enjoyed baking cookies for the KAIROS Prison Ministry.
Survivors are her sons and daughters in law, Stacy and Jesica Culpepper of Thomasville and Jason and Erika Culpepper of Tifton; sister and brother in law, Hanky and Faye Bennett of Lake Park; grandchildren, Taylor Culpepper, Taylor McDonald, Ryder Harrell, Jason Culpepper; and a granddaughter, Kinsey Culpepper, expected to arrive in September; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016, in the chapel of the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park, Georgia. Dr. Mark Holloway, Pastor Hank House and Mr. Jason Culpepper will officiate. Burial will follow at Carter Cemetery in Echols County. The family will receive friends at McLane Lakewood Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tift Area Hospice, 104 W. 8th St. Tifton GA 31794 or to Kairos of Georgia PO Box 46 Forsyth GA 31029.
