Emmie Rebecca Wagner, 96, of Valdosta died Friday, December 4, 2015 at Berrien Nursing Center in Nashville, GA. She was born on December 13, 1918 in Jefferson County, GA to the late James Thomas Adams and Sophrina Rayburn Adams. Mrs. Wagner was a retired bookkeeper with Charles L. Wells Jewelers' in Jacksonville, FL and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Ann Carol and Bennie Smith of Pinetta, FL and preceded in death by her husband, William L. Wagner.
A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, December 7, 2015 at two p. m. at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Reverend John Akers officiating. Burial will follow. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
