Elsie Cole Workman

Elsie Cole Workman, 96, of Valdosta, died on Friday, May 30, 2025, at The Canopy following a period of declining health. She was born in Bunceton, Missouri, on April 24, 1929, to the late James A. and Velma Belle Hurt Cole. Mrs. Workman had worked for Sears Department Store in customer service and was a member of Park Avenue Church. She loved crafting and making doll clothes for the annual Christmas bazaar for Park Avenue Church.

Mrs. Workman is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Nancy Workman of Valdosta; her grandson and his wife, Jason and Elizabeth Giddens of Pooler, Georgia and her great-grandchildren, Claire and Caroline Giddens also of Pooler. She was preceded by her husband, Eldon Dale Workman.
